Coronavirus (COVID-19) - parking services and enforcement

During the Coronavirus outbreak, the County Council restricted on and off street parking enforcement.

From Monday 15 June, organised patrols and enforcement started again in a phased way.  This is to make sure roads are not obstructed for emergency vehicles and to support economic growth in the urban areas. Please make sure that your vehicle is parked safely and legally at all times.

The Council also suspended parking charges in their car parks but charging started again on 22 June, all other terms and conditions apply.

For other enquiries or further advice please contact the parking team at Parking@cumbria.gov.uk or Parking Services, Cumbria County Council, PO Box 415, Carlisle CA1 9GU.
