    Coding isn't just for children and we are offering an Hour of Code for adults to try. If you haven't tried coding and wonder what all the fuss is about or want to keep up with your children or grandchildren, then book your place! Come along on 25th March 2019 10.30 to 11.30 am and do an Hour of Coding using the Library tablets. Booking is essential as places are limited, reserve your place in the Library or by phone on 015395 32749.

    Join us for an afternoon with historical crime writer, J.C. Briggs who will be talking about her novels. Following a career teaching English in schools in Cheshire, Hong Kong and Lancashire, Jean Briggs turned her hand to writing. She has published four titles featuring the great Victorian novelist Charles Dickens as a detective, with his partner, Superintendent Sam Jones of Bow Street.
