  • Writing Workshop with Caroline Gilfillan

    Thursday 26 September 2019 11am to 1pm Life Writing Workshop with Caroline Gilfillan Have you ever wanted to write your life story, but not known where to start? Or perhaps you want to write your family history, or tell the story of a family member. This workshop will show you different ways of approaching life writing. Through simple writing exercises and the discussion of extracts we'll explore how to get going on your life story project. No experience needed, just a notebook and some enthusiasm. Caroline Gilfillan has taught Life Writing for the Open University and in community settings. She's published both poetry and fiction and has an MA in Creative Writing from Lancaster University. £10 to include refreshments. Please book your place at Barrow Library Tel: 01229 407370
