Cumbria Outdoors - planning your visit (school groups)

Here you can find all the relevant information to help you plan your visit to Cumbria Outdoors.

Once we have received your completed Booking Form, we will raise an invoice for the £100 holding fee to confirm your reservation. At this stage, we will post you a confirmation letter and receipt, together with all the relevant documents you need for your stay - including consent forms, kit lists, room plans and directions. Copies of all the pre-course information can be found below.

If we have not already done this prior to this stage, at 16 weeks prior to your visit, we will contact you to discuss your exact programme requirements and work with the delivery team to design your programme of activities to meet your group's aims and objectives. The programme and costing is then sent to you for your agreement. It is at this stage when we will raise an invoice for the £25 per person deposit based on your visit numbers.

At 6 weeks prior to your visit - our administration staff will contact you to confirm visiting numbers and programme requirements.

At 2 weeks prior to your visit - our Housekeeping Coordinator will contact you to discuss the groups medical, dietary and allergen requirements, menu details, confirm arrival/departure times, use of on-site tuck shop and request the group summary detail sheet for our records.

At any point before your visit, if you have any queries regarding your stay with us or if there are any significant changes to visiting numbers or medical issues you wish to discuss, please give us a ring in the office 01768 812280 or drop us an email and we will be happy to help.
