DofE logo 191 x 300

Cumbria Outdoors is a DofE Approved Activity Provider (AAP). An AAP Licence is a quality standard which shows that our organisation's programme has been proven to meet the requirements of the DofE Expedition and Residential sections. DofE participants can use the services of an AAP with confidence.

We are well placed to offer advice on all aspects of the Award and enable schools to ensure young people from all areas of Cumbria and all types of educational establishments are able to take up this opportunity.

Where schools have specific training needs, for example Expedition requirements, this can be facilitated. We also offer advice on all aspects of the administration of the DofE Programme and run regular training programmes subject to demand.
