Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service - Watch Manager vacancies

Cumbria Fire & Rescue Service's ambition is to deliver the best possible services to our communities across Cumbria. Keeping our communities safe, as well as those who work with us and for us, is at the heart of everything we do.

Applications are now being invited for several current and future Watch Manager vacancies across the service area throughout 2021/22.

We are welcoming applications from competent Firefighters, Crew Managers and Watch Managers who are looking for promotion or a transfer opportunity. We would like to hear from those who share the ambition to do more for our communities whilst demonstrating the right behaviours to lead on cultural change.

Cumbria Fire & Rescue Service is a directorate of Cumbria County Council which provides prevention, protection and response services to a wide and diverse range of communities. Cumbria is a fantastic place to live and work but is also faced with a number of significant challenges including a super ageing population, rurality, infrastructure and natural weather.

Candidates will be able to provide evidence of how they meet the essential and desirable criteria which supports improving the service delivery environment, promoting cultural change and also measured against the "Leading Others" specifications of the NFCC Leadership Framework.

A career with Cumbria Fire & Rescue Service is both challenging and rewarding. We are looking for forward thinking, innovative individuals who can display Cumbria County Council and Cumbria Fire & Rescue Service's Behaviours and commit to a one team approach.
