The service has embarked on a cultural journey of change to support this and applications are now being invited for a Fire Protection Professional Lead, for a fixed term period of up to 2 years.

Salary - £ 38,813 - £ 39,782

As the Fire Protection Professional Lead, you will be providing technical expertise, including coaching, mentoring and support to Cumbria Fire and Rescue Services Protection team and senior managers.   

The post holder will be expected to provide high-level support to Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service in delivering its statutory and non-statutory duties in relation to fire safety legislation, including undertaking a more complex caseload. 

The ideal candidate will have a flexible approach and demonstrate the personal qualities, attitude and 'One Team' ethos expected for all staff working for Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service.
