At 09:43 on 15th January 2020 two fire engines from Kirkby Stephen and Sedbergh attended a fire involving the chimney of a domestic property at Wharton. Firefighters used one hose reel, a 9m meter ladder, a roof ladder, a firefighting backpack and small tools to extinguish the fire. Fire fighters were in attendance for approximately two hours.

At 14:14 hours on 7th January 2020 two fire engines attended an incident on Dalston road, Carlisle. The incident was a fire involving two domestic properties and two outbuildings, firefighters used six breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets and two thermal imaging cameras to bring the fire under control and were in attendance for approximately two hours.

At 21:38 hours on the 7th January 2020 four fire engines attended a fire at St Nicolas Bridge, Carlisle. The fire involved a store of old railway sleepers, approximately fifteen tonnes in quantity. Eighty litres of compressed air foam concentrate and thirty six thousand litres of water were used to extinguish the fire. Crews were at the scene for approximately three hours and ten minutes.

At 09:10 hours three fire engines were called to reports of a fire near to Kirkcambeck, Cumbria. On arrival crews discovered a fire involving the chimney of a two storey domestic property and used safe working at height equipment, one hose reel jet and chimney rods to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for approximately two and a half hours.

At 16:32 hours on 1st January 2020, two fire engines from Kendal station attended an incident in Kendal. The fire involved a vehicle within an underground car park and firefighters used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel, a thermal imaging camera and a positive pressure ventilation fan. Crews remained at scene approximately forty minutes.

At 1456 hours on 30th December 2019 three fire engines from Kirkby Stephen, Sedburgh and Kendal attended a road traffic collision with persons trapped on the M6 south junction 38. Fire fighters used small tools and a spine board to release one casualty from the vehicle with the assistance of North West Ambulance Service. Crews were in attendance for approximately one hour.

On the 27th of December 2019 at 19.34 hours two fire engines from Millom and Bootle attended a road traffic collision on the A595, one casualty was extricated by fire service personnel using stabilising equipment, stab fast pack and is now in the care of North West ambulance service crews were detained for approximately twenty five minutes.

At approximately 13:30 hours on the 26th of December 2019, 2 Appliances attended reports of a building fire at an industrial premises. Crews used two breathing apparatus, a hose reel jet and thermal image camera to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for approximately 1 hour.

At approximately 18:00 on the 24th of December 2019, Two Fire appliances were mobilised to reports of a building fire in Pendruddock near Penrith. On arrival crews found a workshop outbuilding well alight and requested an additional three pumps for water supplies. Crews used 3 hose reels, 2 main jets, 6 breathing apparatus and a compressed air foam to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for approximately 6 hours.

At 09:27 hours on 24th December 2019, two fire engines attended a road traffic collision at lakeside in Ulverston. Firefighters used small hand tools to extricate a casualty from the vehicle and were on scene for approximately 20 minutes.

Crews were in attendance approximately two hours.

On arrival crews used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and a thermal image camera to extinguish the fire. Crews were on scene approximately 45 minutes.
