At 17:28 hours on 12th May 2021 two fire engines were called to reports of an incident on the M6 motorway northbound between junctions thirty nine and forty. On arrival fire crews discovered a road traffic collision with one person trapped in a vehicle. Fire service and paramedics assisted the casualty from the vehicle who was then conveyed to hospital by air ambulance. Fire crews were in attendance for approximately forty minutes.

On arrival fire crews discovered a fire involving the first floor of a domestic property and used two breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet. Fire crews were in attendance for approximately thirty five minutes.

Willowholme lane, Carlisle.
The fire involved large amount of waste and a derelict caravan. Firefighters used two hose reel jets and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire and were detained for one hour.

On 2nd May 2021 at 21:04 hours, three fire appliances attended a rescue of a person at height on Rydal Road, Ambleside. The casualty had fallen approximately four meters down a riverbank. Crews administered first aid and used a ladder and lighting equipment at the incident. The casualty was left in the care of the Mountain Rescue Team. Crews were at the scene for forty-five minutes.

Firefighters extricated one casualty from a heavy goods vehicle due to a defect of the seat of the vehicle using a triple extension ladder. The casualty suffering from back pain was handed over to the ambulance personnel also in attendance. Fire crews were on scene for approximately twenty five minutes.
