At 16:53 hours on the 25th February 2021, three fire engines attended a fire on Brunel Way, Carlisle. The fire involved a portacabin that was well alight upon arrival of the fire service. The fire was extinguished using two hose reels, two breathing apparatus and one covering jet. Crews were in attendance for forty five minutes.

At 08:36 hours on 23rd February 2021, two fire engines and an enhanced rescue vehicle attended a road traffic collision involving a heavy goods vehicle and a car on the A596 at Micklethwaite. Fire service personnel extricated one casualty using holmatro cutting equipment and stabilising equipment. The casualty was attended to by paramedics and the air ambulance. Fire crews were in attendance for two hours and twenty minutes.
