At 04:49 on 24th November 2021, two fire engines attended an incident on Lindale Road, Grange-over-Sands. The fire involved a deep fat fryer of a commercial property. Firefighters used one hose reel, four breathing apparatus and two dry powder extinguishers to extinguish the fire and were in attendance for approximately ninety minutes.

On 21st November 2021 at 20:17 hours two fire engines attended Park Lane, Alston. Fire involving a single storey garage measuring approximately four metres by eight metres. Fire service used two main jets and one hose reel jet. Fire service remained at scene for two hours.

At 12:04 on the 21st November 2021, four fire engines, an aerial ladder platform and support fire engine, water bowser and control unit attended a building fire at Little Orton. This was a fire involving two barns containing approximately eight tonnes of hay. The fire was extinguished using four breathing apparatus and two jets. Fire crews and the owner of the property used a telehandler and the aerial ladder platform to remove the hay from the barn. Fire crews were in attendance for approximately six hours.

At 11:57 on the 21st November 2021, three fire engines attended a rescue of a person in major entrapment on Penzance Street, Moor Row. Fire crews released a casualty who was trapped beneath a car using air bags, chocks, blocks and spreaders. Fire crews were detained for approximately seventy minutes.

At 08:53 on the 21st November 2021 two fire engines attended an outbuilding on fire in Kirkoswald. This was a farm building containing a pile of sawdust four metres by four metres and four metres high that had overheated at its core. Firefighters used two hose reel jets and assisted with moving the sawdust to open air for further cooling. Fire crews were in attendance for approximately one hour and twenty minutes.

The incident involved one person and one dog trapped in a storm drain and firefighters rescued them using working at height equipment. Crews remained on scene for approximately fifty minutes.

On Tuesday 9th November 2021 at 07:57 hours two fire engines were mobilised to the B6413 at Lazonby to reports of a large vehicle fire road traffic collision involving two vehicles. Crews used one breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets. Once casualty was left in the hands of northwest ambulance service. Crews were in attendance for one hour, 10 minutes.

The incident involved a commercial building which was well alight. Crews used several ground monitors, a tele handler frame and p3 protection dust masks to assist with extinguishing the fire. Crews are still in attendance.

Crews used a boat and wading poles to rescue four casualties and two dogs from two vehicles stuck in flood water. Crews were in attendance for over one hour.

At 21:36 hours on October 28th 2021 a fire engine attended Athol street, Barrow-in-Furness to assist ambulance crews extricating a casualty from a premises. Fire crews Used an Abtec stretcher and a fifteen-metre general purpose line to extricate the casualty and assisted ambulance in getting the casualty to accident and emergency at Furness general hospital. Fire crews were detained for one hour and ten minutes.

Crews were in attendance for approximately one hour and fifty minutes.
