The service S4 will cease to operate from 1st April 2023
The current Friday service will be replaced by extra journeys on a Thursday between Kirkby Stephen and Brough on the Service S6

Until 31st March 2023 a single bus journey will cost no more than £2 on many routes across England, including this one.
Normal Fares are expected to to return from April 2023, when the funding ceases

ENCTS (English National Concessionary Travel Scheme) Older person's and Disabled person's travel passes are valid for free travel on buses across Cumbria, but can only be used between 09:30 and 23:00 on Monday to Friday - no restrictions at weekends.
