A2B NoWcard - South Lakeland

 The A2BNoWcard gives you freedom to travel for less around South Lakeland and beyond if you are aged 5-18 and live in South Lakeland. 

You will pay a maximum of £1.80 for a single journey or £3.00 for a return journey,  you can use your A2BNoWcard anytime except on school days before 9.30am or between 3pm and 5pm, at these times you will be charged the normal fare.

 You can use your A2BNoWcard on any journey in South Lakeland and also to explore Penrith, Keswick, Barrow, Kirkby Stephen and Lancaster.

 The A2BNoWcard costs £10 and will last until 31 March each year or the day before your 19th birthday. 

 Apply for an A2BNoWcard

  • You can apply at libraries in South Lakeland - you will need to complete the application form, (download here) signed by your parent or guardian if you are under 16, and take it with proof of ID, a recent passport style photograph and the £10 fee. 
  • If you are applying at Kendal library you don't need to take a photograph as they will process your application and take a photograph of you, your parent should be present if you are under 16. 
  • Complete the application form and send with proof of ID, a recent passport style photograph and a cheque for £10 payable Cumbria County Council to:

The scheme is reviewed each year and will receive information on how to renew before 31 March
