Household Waste Recycling Centre - Yeathouse Quarry, Frizington

Opening hours: 8am - 6pm 7 days a week

Due to essential works the site will be CLOSED from Monday 27 March at 4pm reopening Friday 31st March at 8am

There will then be a limited service at the site until Friday 7th April when the site will open at 10am after which normal service will resume.

During this period there will be NO facility to accept green waste and a restricted scrap metal service.

We will be accepting permits issued for Frizington at Millom, Maryport and Clayflatts during the works period.

Trade waste is not accepted at this recycling centre

There is a permit scheme in operation at Frizington recycling centre. This means that if you want to bring your household rubbish to Frizington Household Waste Recycling Centre using a van, pick up or a twin axle trailer (up to 3 meters long) you will require a permit to do so.
