Trade waste

Trade waste is not accepted at any of Cumbria's Household Waste Recycling Centres.

There are a number of options available to traders for dealing with their trade waste:

  • Ask your local district council to collect it for a fee.
  • Contact a skip hire company and have a skip delivered.
  • Arrange for a private waste disposal or recycling company to collect your waste.
  • Take your waste to a private disposal/recycling facility.

The cheapest and easiest way of dealing with your trade waste is to reduce the amount you produce in the first place. There are lots of ways a business can reduce the amount of waste it produces.
