Biodiversity - current progress

Cumbria Biodiversity Partnership:   In 2005 the Wealth of Wildlife Project was launched with funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund and Rural Regeneration Cumbria.  It was completed in 2008.  This project worked on specific wildlife projects to protect and enhance hay meadows, woodlands, bats, natterjack toads and garden wildlife.
