Parents and carers are being urged to tune into local radio Tuesday morning for the latest information on school closures in Cumbria due to the wintry conditions.
Schools, all primaries, already confirmed shut tomorrow (Tues) are as follows.
Waberthwaite - Millom (burst pipe)
Lees Hill - Brampton (icy conditions school grounds and surrounding roads)
Fir Ends - Kirklinton (general icy conditions)
Crosby Ravensworth - Penrith (frozen pipes and heating problems)
Shankhill - Hethersgill - (general icy conditions)
Many headteachers could make the decision to close their schools after inspecting school facilities and surrounding areas first thing Tuesday morning.
Priority will always be the health and safety of pupils and staff.
