6/10/2008 - First library loyalty card winner picks up her prize - Kendal library - WEDNESDAY 8 OCTOBER

The first winner in the library adult loyalty card prize draw is Angela Selby, from Kendal, and she will be picking up her prize at Kendal library this Wednesday (8 October) at 2pm.

Angela has chosen £250 of Marks & Spencer vouchers from the list of prizes on offer, and is delighted to be the first winner. She will receive her prize from Alan Welton, the county council's library services manager.

The library loyalty card was launched in June this year, and runs until May 2009. Any adult who is a member can take part. They just pick up loyalty card from their local library and each time they borrow make sure they get the card stamped. Once they have six stamps, and filled in the card, they can enter it into the quarterly prize draw.

There is no limit to the number of times people can enter so the more times they borrow, the better their chances!

As well as £250 of vouchers, prize draw winners can also chose from a family portrait session to the value of £250, a weekend break to the value of £250 or an adventure day such as hot air ballooning or rally car driving, to the value of £250.
