31/1/2008 - Story time for grownups

To mark next week’s Word Market Festival, Cumbria County Council’s Ulverston library will be holding special story time sessions for adults.

Starting on Monday (4 February) visitors to the library will be able to grab a cup of coffee, settle back and listen to stories read by local writers..

The sessions, which run from 4-8 February at 10:30am each day, are part of the Word Market South Cumbria writers’ and readers’ festival 2008. 

In addition to the daily story time sessions, Ulverston library will also be hosting an informal evening with celebrated writer Jane Rogers on Friday 1 February. Tickets for this event are available from the library.
