17/1/2006 - Warwick Road flood protection scheme talks at local forum

Residents in Botcherby and surrounding areas will hear from the Environment Agency on the Eden and Petteril Flood Alleviation Scheme at the next neighbourhood forum meeting.

Work will start on the scheme in May 2006 and residents will be able to raise any issue they may have on the scheme when the forum meets on 23rd January at St Cuthbert's School at 7pm.

County councillor Anne Glendinning will be chairing the meeting.  She said: 

"Work on the flood prevention scheme start in a few months time so I am sure that many residents will want some questions answered about what it will exactly involve.  I hope people take the time to come along to the meeting on Monday to find out more."
