The December meeting of the Kent Estuary Neighbourhood Forum will be held on Wednesday 6th December 2006 at the W.I. & Village Hall, Orchard Road, Arnside.
Dave Willacy will start the meeting with a brief report on life in the parish. This will be followed by a presentation from Cumbria County Council’s Waste Prevention Team on why people should “Reduce, Reuse and Recycle” their waste and the easy steps people in Cumbria can take to turn waste into a resource.
Jenny Draper will then explain the work of the Crime & Disorder Reduction Partnership, why this was set up and its links with local organisations.
There will also be the opportunity to announce forthcoming events and listen to representatives from local groups explain their applications to the forum for a grant.
The forum, which starts at 7.30pm, is a public meeting and all are welcome.
