The next meeting of the Kendal Neighbourhood Forum will take place at 7pm on Tuesday, 5th December, at Kendal College.
There are three main speakers. Deborah Paniagua will explain what a Children’s Centre for Kendal will mean for children and their families in the town; John Taylor from Horticare, and Adam Foster from Horticare’s service user group, will explain about the use of horticulture for therapy and exciting plans for a sensory garden as part of this work. Finally, Graham Wilkinson, Kendal College Principal, will present the college’s vision for further and higher education from 2007 – 2017.
There will also be the opportunity to listen to representatives from local groups applying for forum grants and to share or publicise any local information.
The forum is a public meeting and everyone is welcome.
