Essential carriageway resurfacing work will take place on Sunday, 9th April, at 8:00am on the A7 Stanwix Bank box junction.
Etterby Street will be closed at its junction with the A7 at Stanwix Bank in order to complete the works which are being carried out on a Sunday in an effort to minimise disruption. The scheme should be completed within a single day.
During the work there will be no way onto Etterby Street from Stanwix Bank. Instead, vehicle access onto Etterby Street will be provided by a diversion via Briar Bank, Hartley Avenue, Etterby Scaur, Eden Place and Etterby Street.
Access onto Stanwix Bank from Etterby Street will be maintained using traffic signals. A pedestrian way will be maintained at all times.
