How do I bid for a grant?
If you think you are eligible for a forum grant, read the guidance notes (PDF 782kb) on how to apply, fill in the grant application form (PDF 1.25MB) and send it to your local area team in the post (we can't accept email applications unfortunately).
The Neighbourhood Development Officer (NDO) covering your area will let you know when your application can be considered by the Neighbourhood Forum. They can also help you find out about any other local sources of funding if necessary.
Some tips on applying
The Application Form - Before filling in the application form, please read the 'General Conditions for the Offer of Financial Assistance' and your 'Neighbourhood Forum Criteria'.
Name and Number of Bank Account - Please enter the name the cheque is to be made out to if your application is successful. We must have the number of your account for the auditors.
Signatures- We cannot process your application unless there are at least two signatures on the form. These need to be two office bearers of your organisation, for example the secretary. One must be the treasurer.
Bank Statement and Accounts - We need to see the latest bank statement and most recent accounts.
Estimates- We need to see estimates for the items you are applying for. Photocopies are acceptable.
It is very important that you enclose as much information as possible to ensure your application is dealt with speedily.
