What is an apprenticeship?
Young people are finding it increasingly more difficult to secure full-time employment. Apprenticeships, however, provide an excellent solution to this by allowing young people to gain the skills they need to succeed at work. Cumbria County Council have successfully supported over…..apprentices of which 98% have gained employment or have progressed onto an advanced apprenticeship.
Cumbria County council Apprenticeships are available in a variety of different vocations including Business Administration, Warehousing, Civil & Electrical Engineering, customer service and Health and Social Care. Duration of an apprenticeship can vary dependant upon the level of apprenticeship and the requirements of the role. On the job training and development make up the majority of the apprenticeship whilst attending off site training with our training providers.
