Prince`s Trust now recruiting

Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service is looking for up to fifteen young people aged between 19 and 25, who are not in employment, education or training, to join the next Prince's Trust Team which starts on the 24th September at Kendal Fire Station.

The programme is a free twelve week, full time, personal development course. It will provide you with the skills, confidence and qualifications to enable you to gain employment, training or further education and it won’t affect your Jobseeker allowance.

During the course you will work closely with other members of the team to achieve a nationally recognised qualification. You will take part in an action packed residential week; complete a project in the local area and make a difference in your community; develop your job hunting, CV writing and interview skills; gain two weeks work experience in a field of your interest and, most importantly, you will gain a big boost to your confidence and a real sense of achievement!
