Permanent post - required to work 30 hours per week, 40 weeks per annum plus holiday entitlement.

Our all age special school requires a knowledgeable, well organised, motivated team player to work within our school administration and premises team from November 3rd 2014 or as soon as possible.

All our pupils have a statement of SEN for severe or profound learning disabilities, and most have additional special needs. You will have a pivotal role in providing finance and human resources administrative support for our school. You will be working under the direction of our Executive Head teacher and Head of School, but with the ability to work under your own initiative.

Your key roles will be to take the lead for our finance management system, contributing to budget setting and leading routine processes including reconciliation. You will also provide dedicated HR support to the Executive Head teacher / Head of School, and support the school administrator in the schools information management system (SIMS) taking responsibility for the staff section.

Experience of school based finance, human resources and information management systems is essential, and it is advantageous to have understanding of Capita systems including FMS (the schools finance management system) and SIMS.

We offer a wide range of CPD opportunities and support within school. Team work is essential at Sandside Lodge School, as is working in partnership with parents and other agencies. We are focussed on continual school improvement with the child at the centre of all we do.
